Effective Date: June 2026
JHBridge Intellectual Property
JHBRIDGE Translation Services ("JHBridge," "we," "us," or "our") owns or holds valid licenses to all content displayed on its website, platform, tools, and services. This includes, but is not limited to, all text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, source code, design elements, page layouts, user interface components, and the overall look and feel of our digital properties. These materials are protected under United States and international copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws.
Users of JHBridge's website and services may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, create derivative works from, republish, download, store, transmit, or otherwise exploit any content owned by or licensed to JHBridge without our prior written permission. Limited, non-commercial use of our website content for personal reference is permitted, provided that no modifications are made and all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices are retained intact.
The JHBridge name, logo, taglines, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks or service marks of JHBridge or its affiliates. You may not use these marks without the prior written permission of JHBridge. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans appearing on our website or platform are the trademarks of their respective owners.
Client Source Materials
JHBridge does not claim ownership of any source documents, content, or materials submitted by clients for translation, interpretation, or related services. Clients retain full ownership of their original content at all times. Submission of materials to JHBridge does not transfer, assign, or otherwise convey any ownership rights in those materials to JHBridge.
By submitting materials to JHBridge for processing, clients grant JHBridge a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access, view, copy, store, and process those materials solely for the purpose of providing the requested translation, interpretation, or related services. This license includes the right to share materials with authorized contractors, interpreters, and personnel who need access to perform the requested services, subject to confidentiality obligations.
Upon completion of the requested services or termination of the engagement, JHBridge's license to process client source materials expires, subject to our right to retain copies as described in our Data Retention and Deletion Policy and as necessary for quality assurance, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and record-keeping purposes.
Translated Deliverables
Upon full payment of all fees owed for translation or related services, the client receives the translated deliverable for their use in accordance with the terms of their engagement with JHBridge. The client may use the completed translation for its intended purpose, including internal use, publication, filing, distribution, or other lawful purposes consistent with the scope of the engagement.
JHBridge may retain copies of translated deliverables for quality assurance, internal reference, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and record-keeping purposes. Such retained copies are subject to JHBridge's confidentiality obligations and are not used for marketing, resale, or any commercial purpose beyond the provision of services to the original client without the client's explicit consent.
If payment for services is not completed in full, JHBridge reserves the right to withhold delivery of the translated deliverable until payment is received. JHBridge's retention of copies does not diminish the client's rights in the translation upon full payment, nor does it grant JHBridge any ownership interest in the client's original source materials.
User Representations
By uploading, submitting, transmitting, or otherwise providing materials to JHBridge through our website, platform, email, or any other means, you represent and warrant that you are the owner of such materials or that you have obtained all rights, licenses, permissions, consents, and authorizations necessary to share the materials with JHBridge and to authorize JHBridge to process them as described in these policies and the applicable terms of service.
You further represent and warrant that the materials you submit to JHBridge do not infringe, misappropriate, or otherwise violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, right of publicity, right of privacy, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right of any third party. You acknowledge that JHBridge relies on these representations when accepting materials for processing and that any breach of these warranties may result in suspension or termination of services.
If you are submitting materials on behalf of an organization, company, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms and to grant JHBridge the licenses described herein. You accept responsibility for ensuring that all materials submitted under your account comply with these representations, regardless of who within your organization originated the materials.
Prohibited Uploads
Users may not upload, submit, or transmit to JHBridge any materials that are stolen, pirated, infringing, counterfeit, or unauthorized. This includes, without limitation, materials that reproduce copyrighted works without authorization, counterfeit documents or certificates, materials obtained through unauthorized access to third-party systems, and any content that the user does not have a lawful right to possess, use, or share.
Users may not submit materials that violate the copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the infringement is intentional or unintentional. Users are solely responsible for verifying that they have the necessary rights and authorizations before submitting any materials to JHBridge for processing.
JHBridge reserves the right to refuse, reject, or cease processing any materials that we reasonably believe may be infringing, unlawful, or otherwise in violation of this policy. If JHBridge determines or reasonably suspects that submitted materials violate this section, we may remove, delete, or quarantine the materials, suspend or terminate the user's account, and take any other action we deem appropriate to protect our platform, our clients, and third-party rights holders.
JHBridge's Rights to Remove Content
JHBridge reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to remove, refuse, delete, disable access to, or stop processing any materials uploaded to or processed through our platform if we suspect or determine that such materials infringe third-party intellectual property rights, violate applicable law, or otherwise breach our terms of service or this intellectual property policy. JHBridge may take such action at any time, with or without notice to the user.
JHBridge is not obligated to pre-screen, review, monitor, or inspect all materials uploaded by users prior to processing. However, we reserve the right to review submitted materials at any time for compliance with this policy, our terms of service, and applicable law. Users acknowledge that JHBridge cannot and does not guarantee that it will identify or act upon every instance of potentially infringing or unlawful content.
If JHBridge removes or refuses to process materials under this section, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected user of the action taken, the general basis for the action, and any steps the user may take to address the issue. However, JHBridge is not required to provide detailed explanations, return removed materials, or justify its decision in cases where disclosure could expose JHBridge to legal risk or compromise an ongoing investigation.
Copyright Complaint Process
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded to, processed through, or otherwise used by JHBridge in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, you may submit a written complaint to JHBridge at contact@jhbridgetranslation.com. JHBridge takes copyright complaints seriously and will review each complaint submitted in good faith. Please note that JHBridge does not currently have a registered DMCA designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. While we follow the principles of the DMCA notice-and-takedown process as a matter of good practice, the formal safe harbor protections of the DMCA may not apply.
To help us process your complaint efficiently, your written notice should include the following: (1) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including the registration number if available; (2) a description of the allegedly infringing activity, including where on our platform or in our services the infringement occurred; (3) your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address; (4) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act on your behalf.
Upon receipt of a valid and complete copyright complaint, JHBridge will review the complaint and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing materials, notifying the user who submitted the materials, and suspending or terminating the account of the user responsible. JHBridge reserves the right to request additional information or clarification before acting on any complaint. We aim to respond to valid complaints in a timely manner, but response times may vary depending on the complexity of the matter.
Counter-Notice and Dispute
If you believe that your materials were wrongly removed, disabled, or flagged as a result of a copyright complaint or intellectual property claim, you may submit a written counter-notice to JHBridge at contact@jhbridgetranslation.com. Your counter-notice should include your full name and contact information, identification of the materials that were removed or disabled, a description of where the materials appeared before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the materials were removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your physical or electronic signature.
JHBridge will review counter-notices submitted in good faith and will consider restoring the removed or disabled materials where appropriate. JHBridge may, in its sole discretion, forward your counter-notice to the original complainant and allow them a reasonable period to respond or seek judicial relief before taking further action. The decision to restore or maintain the removal of materials rests with JHBridge and will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Submitting a counter-notice does not guarantee that your materials will be restored. JHBridge reserves the right to maintain the removal of materials if, after reviewing the counter-notice and any additional information, we continue to believe in good faith that the materials may be infringing or that restoration would expose JHBridge to legal risk. Users who disagree with JHBridge's determination may pursue resolution through appropriate legal channels.
Protection Against Abusive Notices
JHBridge reserves the right to reject, disregard, or decline to act on copyright complaints or takedown notices that are incomplete, vague, abusive, fraudulent, or submitted in bad faith. Copyright complaints that fail to include the required information described in this policy, that appear to be filed for competitive or harassment purposes, or that misrepresent the ownership of the allegedly infringed work will not be processed.
JHBridge may require sufficient detail, documentation, and verification of identity and authority before acting on any copyright complaint. We are under no obligation to process complaints that do not meet the requirements described in this policy or that we reasonably believe to be illegitimate. Knowingly submitting a materially false copyright complaint may subject the complainant to legal liability under applicable law.
JHBridge takes the integrity of the complaint process seriously. We believe that both copyright owners and content submitters deserve fair treatment, and we will not act on complaints that appear designed to abuse the process rather than to protect legitimate intellectual property rights. If you believe you have received an abusive or fraudulent takedown notice, please contact us at contact@jhbridgetranslation.com.
Repeat Infringement
JHBridge maintains a policy of terminating or suspending the accounts and services of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights. A repeat infringer is a user who has been the subject of more than one valid and substantiated copyright complaint or who has been found to have repeatedly uploaded or submitted materials that infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
In determining whether a user qualifies as a repeat infringer, JHBridge will consider the number and nature of complaints received, whether the user has submitted counter-notices that were upheld, the severity and scope of the alleged infringement, and any other factors that JHBridge deems relevant. JHBridge reserves sole discretion in making repeat infringement determinations.
Termination of an account or services under this section does not relieve the user of any obligations under their agreement with JHBridge, including payment for services already rendered. JHBridge may also take any other action it deems appropriate, including reporting suspected infringement to law enforcement or relevant rights holders, and cooperating with legal proceedings related to intellectual property infringement.
